It has been the the subject of a film made by students at Bray Institute of Further Education, survived the brutal lockdowns five years ago and threw a big party when Penneys opened last July, just a hop, skip and jump down the celebrated laneway, which comes alive with the sound of music every weekend.
Now, sadly, Sandie and Derek Stanley, who have owned and run the Boomerang Bar, in Bray, since 1997, are moving on.
