A new hero has entered the lists. HBO‘s new Game of Thrones spin-off series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, introduces the world to Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey) and his incorrigible squire Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell).

Hardcore fans of George R.R. Martin‘s work already know all about “Dunk and Egg.” Martin’s first novella featuring the adorable pair came out all the way back in 1998. Now, these two unlikely heroes — with big futures ahead of them — are hitting the small screen.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms opens with Ser Duncan, aka Dunk, burying his father figure, Ser Arlan of Pennytree (Danny Webb), before deciding to enter a tournament at nearby Ashford. When Dunk enters this world of noble houses and fierce knights, he has to figure out for himself how best to be a knight.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is charming, sweet, and thrilling. A perfect new addition to the world of Westeros. But when does the new GoT show come out? How can you watch A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms?
