Planning permission has been granted for a significant expansion of diagnostic imaging facilities at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, with a new two-storey MRI facility set to be developed at the Windmill Road campus.
Louth County Council has approved the application by Alliance Medical Diagnostic Imaging Ltd for the removal of existing prefabricated MRI units and the construction of a purpose-built extension designed to increase scanning capacity at the hospital.
