Second Lady Usha Vance has revealed that she is expecting her fourth child with Vice President JD Vance.

“We’re very excited to share the news that Usha is pregnant with our fourth child, a boy,” the couple announced in an Instagram post. “Usha and the baby are doing well, and we are all looking forward to welcoming him in late July.”

The announcement follows months of breakup rumors that both the Vice President and his wife have debunked. Trump’s second-in-command met his wife when they were students at Yale Law School. They tied the knot in 2014 and share three young children, Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel.

Since being elected, the Vance’s relationship has been under a microscope. For months, rumors have swirled that the pair have quietly parted ways. The rumors were exacerbated by photos of Usha out and about without her wedding ring.

Usha made a rare appearance at Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River in Jacksonville, North Carolina, alongside Melania Trump. Images from the trip showed Usha’s ringless finger.

At the time, a representative for Usha dismissed the rumors to PEOPLE, explaining that Usha is “a mother of three young children, who does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths, and forgets her ring sometimes.”

Usha, apparently exhausted by the constant speculation, commented on the rumors to USA Today herself, saying, “I wear it when I wear it, and I don’t when I don’t.

“Sometimes I’m wearing it and sometimes I’ve just been to the gym and showered and I’m not wearing it.” she added.

JD Vance has been open about the difficulties he faced in his childhood, growing up in Ohio, where his family moved to from Kentucky to escape poverty. Vance’s autobiography, Hillbilly Elegy, details his mother’s struggle with addiction, and being raised by his grandmother.

He has also spoken about how fatherhood has changed him, saying in an interview with Megyn Kelly, “having children, becoming a father, becoming a mother, I really do think it changes your perspective in a pretty profound way.”
