Chappell Roan will join previously announced honorees Chaka Khan, Haim, St. Vincent, Amy Allen and more at the the second annual Resonator Awards, presented by We Are Moving the Needle and taking place during Grammy Week on January 27, 2026 at Los Angeles’ iconic Chaplin Studios (formerly Henson Studios).

Fred Armisen will host the event, and along with newly announced honoree Roan — who will receive the Harmonizer Award, will be presented by Heart’s Nancy Wilson — Roger Davies, veteran music manager to Cher, Sade, Tina Turner, Janet Jackson and P!nk, will receive the Transformer Award, for his work championing artists and being a voice for positive change in the industry. 

We Are Moving The Needle also announces the Resonator Awards performers, including Flo, Greg Kurstin, Jim James, Lucius, Sia, Thundercat, and Victoria Canal, plus a DJ set by U.S. Girls. Performances will include a Chaka Khan tribute in honor of this year’s Luminary Award recipient, featuring Grace Bowers, Hayley Williams, Lalah Hathaway, Maggie Rogers and more surprise guests. The evening’s live music is supported by Live Nation Women, a division at Live Nation dedicated to driving progress for women across the industry.

In the lead-up to the awards, We Are Moving The Needle will host a curated auction featuring exclusive music memorabilia. All proceeds will benefit the organization’s scholarship fund, directly supporting opportunities for women in music. The auction will be both a digital and live auction at the awards ceremony, offering instruments signed by Boygenius, Haim, Remi Wolf, and more. The digital auction is available to the public now here, with additional special items to be revealed at the live auction next week. 

The evening’s full list of honorees include: Chaka Khan, St. Vincent, Haim, Amy Allen, Gena Johnson, Jayda Love, Bella Blasko, Alissia, Elvira Anderfjärd and Luka Kloser, Roselilah, Betty Bennett, Chappell Roan and Roger Davies. Some of the evening’s presenters include Tony Berg, Rostam, Olivia Rodrigo, Laufey, Jason Isbell, Anderson .Paak, Addison Rae, Aaron Dessner and more. 

We Are Moving the Needle was founded in 2021 by Grammy-winning mastering engineer, Emily Lazar who notes, “We Are Moving The Needle is about strengthening the music industry so creators can thrive on their own terms. The Resonator Awards are a reflection of that mission—honoring not only remarkable artistry, but the shared commitment to building an industry that lives up to its values.” The Resonator Awards are produced by Awe Creative, with design from artist Shira Inbar.
