Spice Girl, Mel C, has weighed in on the Beckham feud after her former, bandmate, Victoria, is said to be “horrified” by Brooklyn’s statement.
In a six-page attack, posted on Monday on Instagram, the 26-year-old accused his famous family of sabotaging his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz, 31, fostering ‘fake friendships’ for social media, as well as raging: “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family”.
Victoria, 51, is said to have been left heartbroken and in tears after reading the allegations – at the same time as the rest of the world – however, sources claim she would still ‘welcome Brooklyn back in a minute’ despite his vitriol online.

Giving her take on proceedings, Mel C, aka Sporty Spice, 52, has now revealed she is relieved her daughter, Scarlet, 16, is shunning a life in the spotlight as she alluded to ‘friends’ who have very different situations with their kids.
Speaking to The Times, she said: “It’s so hard to be in the shadow of a parent who’s had success. We kind of embrace nepo baby.. F*** it, let’s go for nepo baby! The thing is, with Scarlet, she’s not in the public eye. I made that conscious decision when she was a baby.”
Insisting she doesn’t ‘judge’ her friends who have ‘very different’ parenting skills, she continued: “Obviously I have friends who handle it very differently, each to their own, no judgment at all. But for me, probably because of my experiences with fame, I didn’t feel comfortable making that decision for her.”
Victoria, who spent years touring the world with Mel C as part of the Spice Girls, was reportedly ‘in bits’ after her son, Brooklyn, posted a jaw-dropping statement about his famous family, which sent shockwaves through the world
However, despite his blistering attack in which he also accused the mum-of-four of dancing on him “inappropriately” at his wedding, Victoria is still, reportedly, ready to reconcile.
Speaking to People magazine, a source said: “They are afraid of losing their son and would take him back in a minute. They are a close family, too. Just in a different way than Nicola’s family is. They love Brooklyn and are horrified about everything.”
Meanwhile, a second source added to the publication: “David and Victoria believe time will heal this. They know over time that Brooklyn will come back. They can’t really do anything until then.”
The Beckhams are yet to comment on the statement, however Brooklyn’s little sister Harper did break her silence on Saturday.
The 14-year-old was once very close to her big brother, however their relationship is now said to be strained following the feud.
Taking to Instagram, she congratulated brother Romeo – who has blocked Brooklyn on social media – on his modelling gig in Paris as the family’s fracas shows no sign of abating.
