Love Island’s Helena Ford was left in tears after Shaq Muhammad dumped her for Belle Hassan, prompting fans to rally around her with messages of support.
During Sunday night’s episode of the ITV show, Shaq pulled Helena aside to end their romantic connection, admitting his feelings for Belle had grown stronger.
He explained that he felt a deeper bond with Belle and wanted to close things off with Helena as he didnt see anything happening with them long term.
Following the awkward conversation, an upset Helena grabbed Samie Elishi and Jess Harding before heading to the dressing room.
Confiding in her pals, she broke down, saying: ‘This always happens.’
The moment mirrored Helena’s first time on the show last year, when she found herself in a similar situation caught in a love triangle with Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley.

It comes days after Love Island viewers spotted clues that two of the ITV2 stars have been ‘acting’ – as they fume one Islanders is ‘playing it safe to win’.
The couples finally appeared to be settling down after many of them were switched up earlier this week following a dramatic re-coupling after a series of bombshell entrances.

And through all the chaos, fans of the ITV2 series believe they have spotted one Islander ‘playing safe to win’ by sticking within their couple and ‘acting’ he likes her.
They’ve speculated that eventually, the singleton will dump the girl he’s currently coupled up with – with his eyes set on another All Stars beauty.

The duo had been on screen few and far between until last night, when they were seen heading out on a romantic date – a picnic amongst the mountains.
During the date, the couple opened up on how their romance was going, and admitted they were interested in going even further.
Scott asked if Leanne would visit him in Wales, and was curious to know whether or not her family would approve of him as a partner.
Nonetheless, viewers weren’t convinced that Scott was being genuine – and hit out that they felt he was ‘acting’, suggesting he was ‘playing safe to win’, predicting he will later couple up with Millie Court.

One penned on X, formerly Twitter, according to The Sun: ‘Is Scott into Leanne or is he acting?’ as another chimed in: ‘Scott is so PERFORMATIVE.’
A third added: ‘Scott’s playing it safe with Leanne, he really wants to win it this time, 4th times the charm, he doesn’t like her at all he wants Millie & he’ll go for her now she’s been voted favourite girl, better chance of winning.’
As a fourth penned: ‘Leanne should make the most of this, as Scott’ll be off when he thinks the time is right to hook up with Millie and win the cheque.’
‘The only reason I don’t fully trust Scott is because he knows his main audience and what they want,’ someone else concluded.
