Sister Wives star Christine BrownWoolley applauded Meri Brown for standing her ground against their ex-husband, Kody Brown, in the TLC series’ season-ending special.

In a clip for part three of the series’ One on One episodes, Christine watched Meri and Kody’s interaction during the third stop of his apology tour. The former polygamist patriarch reached out to each of his ex-wives separately to express his feelings of regret for his behavior over the years.

After years of Kody’s neglect, Meri refused to internalize his words. Christine viewed the clip alongside One on One host Sukanya Krishnan and offered her candid reaction.

Christine watched as Meri said, “I’m going to tell you this, Kody. You’re not gonna shut me down anymore. I’m going to finish what I’m saying. When I’m not treated well, the people closest to me will defend me.”

Christine laughed, putting her hand over her mouth to subdue her reaction, before commenting, “Meri was great. That was awesome.”

“I love it. She just put him in his place, and she was like, ‘This isn’t for me. This is all for you,'” Christine added.

“Once he started talking about her friends, the conversation really was over,” Christine concluded.

Viewers agreed with Kody Brown’s ex-wives. They shared their remarks in the post’s comments section.

“Nice to hear Christine giving Meri support!” wrote one viewer. “Love that Christine supports Meri wholly and fiercely even though they won’t ever have a friendship,” penned a second fan.
