HMD is now in the smartwatch business as the brand announced its premium Watch X1 and the “versatile” Watch P1. The two watches were also joined by six new TWS earbuds in the Dub series.
HMD Watch X1 and Watch P1
Watch X1 gets a 1.43” AMOLED display with 466x466px resolution and 600 nits peak brightness. Being an OLED, it supports Always On Display functionality and animated watch faces. Watch P1 is equipped with a 1.83” LCD with 240 x 284px resolution and 550 nits peak brightness.
Both watches boot a proprietary real-time operating system (RTOS) and are controlled via the HMD Watch App, which is available for Android and iOS. Watch X1 is IP68 rated against water and dust, while the P1 is IP67 rated. Both support Bluetooth calling, app and message notifications and music controls.

The two watches also share the same sensors, including heart-rate and SpO2 sensors, and can track over 700 activities. You also get sleep and stress monitoring, as well as active calorie tracking. Both watches come with standard 22mm straps for easy customizability.
Battery life on the Watch X1 is rated at up to 5 days on a single charge with AOD on, while Watch P1 is rated at up to 4 days. Both watches charge via proprietary magnetic chargers.

HMD X1 comes in Gray Green, Black, Gray Metallic, and Silver Leather, while HMD P1 is available in Black and Silver. HMD did not reveal pricing and availability details just yet.
HMD Dub series TWS earbuds
HMD also announced a total of six new TWS earbuds with the Dub X50 Pro touted as its flagship offering featuring Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, ANC, up to 60 hours of playtime (15.8 hours from the buds), IPX4 splash resistance and quad microphones.

Dub X50 leverages similar specs as the X50 Pro while omitting ANC. It extends total playback to 70 hours with an impressive 17.9 hours coming from the buds.
Dub S60 offers up to 35 hours of total playtime and Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC). Dub P70 bring ANC and are rated at up to 45 hours of total playback. Dub P60 gets 30 hours of playback while Dub P50 is rated at 25 hours.

HMD revealed the Dub X50 will retail for PHP 1,790 ($30) in the Philippines. Dub S60 will go for PHP 1,690 ($28) while Dub P60 are set to retail for PHP 1,190 ($20).
