When it comes to dream I’m A Celeb guests, it’s fair to say that Roy Keane tops many people’s lists when it comes to names they would like to see on the show.

The Cork man would be a producer’s dream in the jungle. Not only is he hugely entertaining, but it seems almost inevitable that he would fall out with some of his fellow campmates at some point.

Keane has reportedly received offers to appear on the show on a number of occasions, although he has yet to seriously consider doing so.

Roy Keane Horrified By Irish Accent In Ant & Dec’s ‘I’m A Celeb’ Plea

Recommended

Ant & Dec were guests on Stick to Football this week, with the subject of Roy Keane appearing on their flagship show inevitably being raised.

Keane didn’t completely shoot down the idea, although it seems rather unlikely. He was also far from impressed with Dec’s attempt at an Irish accent that soon followed.

Dream on lads, dream on…

Why do you think it’s always about numbers? Everyone thinks it’s about numbers?

(He’s had offers) a couple of times, a couple of times yeah.

Apart from the fairly spot on use of the word ‘baby’, that Irish accent was absolutely dire.

We have seen a number of celebrities from Ireland appear in the Australian jungle down through the years, but there is no doubt that Roy Keane would be the most box office of the bunch.

His comments here suggest that an appearance on the show is not completely out of the question. In saying that, while he suggests it is not all about money, it would probably take a huge offer from ITV bosses in order to convince him to finally sign on the dotted line.
