Katie Price’s new husband has taken to social media after the whirlwind wedding.

Katie, 47, shocked fans – and reportedly her family – by tying the knot with Lee Andrews in Dubai. They announced the bombshell wedding on Sunday (January 25) after Lee popped the question with rose petals at Dubai’s Burj Al Arab hotel.

The ex-glamour model married the entrepreneur just days after meeting him – marking her ninth time getting engaged and fourth time tying the knot. Lee himself was only recently engaged to Alana Percival – and popped the question in the exact same way.

He was in high spirits as he took to Instagram with the motivational quote: “If you quit when it gets hard, you were never serious to begin with.”

Lee’s mum Trisha, a medium, has spoken out on the wedding, where no loved ones were present. She told the Mirror: “Of course, I know who Katie is. I’ve always been very neutral about her. Everyone deserves a chance, you should never judge anyone in life.

“You can ask what it’s like to have a famous daughter-in-law, but she’s got a famous mother-in-law!”

Addressing the wedding, she said: “There’s a lot of lies going around about Lee and that’s made me really upset. He’s not been married twice. I just want to defend my son, but I can’t say much more until I know everything.

“He did tell me that the wedding was happening. He spoke to me and if he is happy, I am happy – he’s my son, and that’s all that matters.”

Katie insisted “they haven’t even invented the words” for what she has with Lee. She said: “How I met Lee was esoteric, we connected [by] both checking each others’ socials and quickly realised wow this is for me…in the old fashioned way, first by words which captured us both.

“That evolved deeper as we connected further with in days [getting] matching tattoos, and then both deciding to buy rings for the other.

“All this without even meeting, we let fate but you could [say] destiny decide. I’m just so happy with my person that is just as happy as I am. What we have, they haven’t even invented the words.

“He has now the best version of me which can only grow more, knowing we are each others’. On the wedding, all I can say is fatale, and this was a wedding at First Sight.”
