Chris Appleton—who works with everyone from Kim Kardashian to Jennifer Lopez—sat down for an interview with theU Up? podcast and was asked how much he charges clients.
Prepare to be shocked, because Chris responded: “I’ve charged everything, from $100 back in the day to…Like 100K.”
My jaw hit the floor, but keep in mind that Chris says “that was to travel and stuff, that was a whole situation,” so clearly we’re not just talking about the haircut/style itself.
“That sort of thing is a one-off,” he explained. “But don’t forget that then you get taxed 50%, then your agent takes something. It gets dwindled down.”
I mean, Chris is extremely talented and I guess celebs are willing to pay! Meanwhile, I’ll just be here contemplating cutting myself bangs with a pair of meat scissors from my kitchen until further notice.
