Three residents of Landis Homes, in Manheim Township, spent time recently constructing ice sculptures around the Landis Homes campus.
Leon and Louisa Weber, and fellow Landis Homes resident Don Ziegler, made the sculptures with pieces of ice that they molded from pans, trays and other objects. They then poured or sprayed water to fuse the individual pieces together.
Louisa Weber said that in the past, she has spent her winters in Argentina, where she’s from, and she needed something to do to survive the cold winter in Lancaster County.
