The fast-paced BBC series is more interesting than ‘Succession’, but viewers should switch over if they are easily offended

It is time to drop in on Industry, a much-hyped show. Its creators are Mickey Down, who hopefully – for his own sake – does not know any Irish people with a name like that, and Konrad Kay. They’ve been interviewed by the New Yorker and also the Observer. Down is on Instagram, reportedly posting pictures from luxurious foreign parts. They have just signed a three-year contract with HBO to produce Industry until 2027.
In other words, Down and Kay are a big success.
