Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Heming Willis, recently opened up about how things are going since the legendary actor moved into a second, separate family home.

Emma, 47, appeared on the Wednesday, January 28 episode of the Conversations With Cam podcast and shared that she and her daughters, Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11, still spend a ton of time with the Golden Globe Award winner, 70.

“We are over there all the time. It is our second home,” she explained. “It’s a place where we make memories, and that house supports Bruce’s every need, 24/7, and our other home, where our kids are, now they’re supported, now their needs are met, and that’s worked so well for us.”

Despite how beneficial moving the Die Hard star has been, Emma admitted, “It was one of the hardest decisions,” and “did not come easy.”

However, Emma noted that Bruce “wouldn’t want his two young daughters to be clouded by his disease.”

“They weren’t having sleepovers, playdates. We weren’t inviting people over. I isolated all of us. It was a really hard time,” she reflected. “The decision didn’t come lightly, but it was the right one for our family. I can see the benefits from it. I see our children are thriving, and so is Bruce, and that is the most important.”

In a September interview with The Times, Emma revealed Bruce was living down the street.

“Among the sadness and discomfort, it was the right move — for him, for our girls, for me,” she told the outlet.“Ultimately I could get back to being his wife. And that’s such a gift.”
