Peacefully on January 29th, in the tender and compassionate care of the staff of the Mercy University Hospital, Cork, with his loving family by his side.

 

Kevin, dearly loved and devoted husband of Kathleen (née O’Keeffe), his best friend and partner throughout life.

 

Treasured and deeply loved father to Patrick, Killian, Fiona, Kevin, Adrian, Kieran and John.

 

A proud and much adored grandfather to Mollie, Colm, Danny, Cian and his wife Elaine, Sara, Dara, Caomhán, Liam, Tomás, Sam, Charlie, Meabh, Conor and Alice, who brought him great joy and happiness. A loving and proud great-grandad to Éada, who held a very special place in his heart.

 

Kevin will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love by his heartbroken wife, sons and daughter, daughters-in-law Wendy, Siobhán, Susan, Ann-Marie and Maureen, son-in-law Mick, his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchild, brothers John, Donal, Patrick and Denis, sister Virginia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and his many kind friends.

 

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary O’Shea, his brother Brendan, sister Mary Ahern, and sister-in-law Margaret O’Shea.

 

Kevin was a proud Kerry man who loved football and especially loved playing with Lisgoold GAA. He took great pride in his parish, his community and in representing his club.

 

The family wish to extend their sincere and heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Kevin, especially the staff of the Mercy University Hospital, for their kindness, compassion and dedication shown to Kevin and his family.

 

May Kevin Rest in Peace.

 

Kevin will repose at his residence, Pigeon Hill, Leamlara, T56 P084, on Friday 30th January from 3.00pm to 6.00pm.

 

Reception into Sacred Heart Church, Leamlara, on Saturday 31st January for 2.30pm Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Lisgoold Cemetery.
