Deirdre Kavanagh (née Clinton – Murphy), Woodlands, Rathangan and formerly of Ardristan, Tullow, Co. Carlow and Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.

Peacefully, 29th January 2026, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre deceased by her parents Helen and Jimmy, sister Margaret and brother Basil.

Deirdre will be sadly missed by her loving husband Andy, children Tara, Laura, Lisa, Richard and their partners, brother Charlie, nephews John Paul and James, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McWeys Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town from 4pm on Monday (2nd February) concluding with prayers at 6pm.

Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Tuesday morning to arrive at The Church of the Assumption and St. Patrick, Rathangan for requiem mass at 11am.

Cremation afterwards in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 1:30pm.
