Beatles fans have been given a first look at how the fab four will look in the upcoming Sam Mendes‘ biopics.
Sony Pictures teased a glimpse at the four actors in their respective roles on Thursday in an unconventional manner, releasing four separate postcards with a picture of John, George, Ringo and Paul hidden around the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts campus for students to find.
The school’s Instagram posted: “We’ve been given exclusive postcards promoting the new Beatles movies! We’ve hidden them around LIPA, and we want students to find them.”
The four films are slated for release in April 2028, with each movie telling the story of the iconic band from the point of view of the respective members.
Paul Mescal will play Paul McCartney, while Barry Keoghan will take on the role of Ringo Starr. Also joining the cast is Babygirl star Harris Dickinson, who will portray John Lennon, while Mescal’s Gladiator II co-star Joseph Quinn will take on the role of George Harrison.

Barry Keoghan also gave the public a first glimpse at his new Beatles look as he showed off his Ringo Starr hairstyle amid filming for the four-movie biopic of the Fab Four.
Saltburn star Barry, 33, appeared on the red carpet on Wednesday night for the UK gala screening of Crime 101, in which he stars alongside Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, and he sported his luscious locks as he looks to recreate the aesthetic popularised by the Beatles in the 1960s.

Barry has previously spoken of his nerves when he first met Ringo but he tried to shake them as he intends to examine the drummer’s behaviour so that he can properly recreate it in the films.
“When I was talking to him, I couldn’t look at him. I was nervous,” the Dubliner said. “But he’s like, ‘You can look at me’. And again, you’re playing Ringo Starr. My job is to observe and take in the mannerisms and study.”
