A Canadian paediatric surgeon is to chair an expert panel to examine records of children who had hip dysplasia surgery in two hospitals in Dublin to assess if operations were unnecessary.
Dr Kishore Mulpuri is head of the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia, as well as a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon at British Columbia Children’s Hospital.
