Moto Watch India is Motorola’s latest attempt to shake up the crowded smartwatch market, and on paper, it lands with serious intent. Launched alongside the Motorola Signature smartphone, the wearable blends Polar-powered fitness tracking with a premium metal build and long battery life at an aggressive starting price of Rs 5,999.

Moto Watch India price and launch details

The Moto Watch price in India starts at Rs 5,999 for silicone strap variants, while stainless steel and leather options are priced at Rs 6,999. Sales begin on 30 January on Motorola’s official website, Flipkart, and select offline retailers. Buyers can choose from Pantone-backed colourways, including Herbal Garden, Volcanic Ash, Parachute Purple, Mocha Mousse, Matte Black and Matte Silver, giving the smartwatch a more fashion-led feel than many fitness-first rivals.

Design, display and durability

At the heart of the Moto Watch is a 47mm round aluminium case with a 1.4-inch circular OLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The watch is rated IP68 and 1 ATM water-resistant, making it appropriate for everyday wear, workouts, and light splashes. It weighs about 35g without the strap, keeping it relatively light for all-day use.

Polar-powered health tracking and smart features

Motorola’s partnership with Polar brings advanced sleep, recovery, and heart-rate insights which go beyond basic step count and calorie tracking. The Moto Watch offers continuous heart rate and SpO2 monitoring, dual-frequency GPS for more accurate outdoor tracking, and features such as Nightly ANS recharge-style recovery metrics, hydration reminders, and sleep scores. It runs with 512MB RAM and 4GB eMMC storage, includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, PPG and ambient light sensors, and supports Bluetooth 5.3 with BLE for Android 12 and above. A built-in microphone and speaker enable Bluetooth calling and audio alerts on the wrist.

Battery life

Motorola claims up to 13 days of battery life in standard use, dropping to around seven days with the always-on display enabled. A five-minute top-up is said to deliver roughly a full day of power, which could be a real advantage for busy users who forget to charge overnight. If these figures hold up in actual usage, the Moto Watch India launch gives Android users a genuinely compelling mix of endurance, health tracking and style at a price that undercuts many big-name rivals.
