Actor and performer Snehil Dixit Mehra has joined the cast of the upcoming masala action entertainer Gunmaster G9, starring Emraan Hashmi and Genelia D’Souza. Known for her work in the web series Apharan, her role as an episodic director on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi, and her popular digital persona BC Aunty, Snehil brings a strong and versatile skill set to the film.In Gunmaster G9, she will be seen portraying a primary character, adding depth and authenticity to the story. Sources reveal that her role plays an important part in driving the narrative and is closely linked to the film’s emotional arc.Directed by Aditya Datt, Gunmaster G9 promises stylised action, drama, and high-energy entertainment. Alongside Emraan Hashmi and Genelia D’Souza, the film also stars Aparshakti Khurana, with Snehil Dixit Mehra emerging as one of the film’s notable additions.Gunmaster G9 brings together a dynamic mix of talent, blending action, drama, and mass appeal, and is already generating strong anticipation ahead of its release.Earlier in an interview with us, Snehil spoke about working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. “I met Sanjay Leela Bhansali in 2021 for their magnum opus long format show Heeramandi and started work as an in-house writer.It was a dream come true. The shooting commenced in 2022 June and one day sir asked me if I would be interested in shooting a few scenes as a director, under his guidance obviously. I was unsure but he encouraged me and told me he will be there to support. I consider myself fortunate to have worked with Bhansali Sir as a mentee. He truly mentored me to be a better screenwriter and a director,” Snehil said.
