What appears to be an official invite for the 2026 Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event has leaked, seemingly confirming the event date as February 25. This date isn’t too much of a surprise, given that the date for the Galaxy S26 launch has leaked in some form or another more than once. The Galaxy S26 family of devices is suspected to be dropping at the next Unpacked, too. So you put two and two together, and you get the event date for Galaxy Unpacked 2026.

It’s also worth noting that Samsung’s official Galaxy Unpacked invites tend to look pretty similar every year. They don’t really ever look exactly the same, but they have a similar aesthetic. In other words, you can always tell when it’s an Unpacked invite. Keep in mind that Samsung hasn’t sent out the official invite yet, so take this with a small grain of salt.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 Invite Leak

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event date is the same as the launch date for the Galaxy S26

The leak, which comes from Evan Blass on X, includes a couple of small pieces of information in addition to the invite image you can see above. Blass also mentions that the Galaxy S26 family of devices will launch on February 25. Now, it’s worth breaking this down a bit, because “launch” could mean a few different things. Sometimes the word launch refers to the date when the device goes on sale. Several OEMs, however, will use the word launch in accordance with the reveal date.

It’s entirely possible Samsung could launch the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra and have them go on sale on the same date. And in this case, the launch might refer to the availability to pre-order the phones. Which should be the same day as the announcement. At the very least, that week. Blass also notes that the Galaxy Buds4 will launch alongside the new phones. Again, this isn’t really anything new, but it’s more evidence that these previously leaked dates are accurate.
