An otter sighting on the Nanny River has been welcomed as a positive indicator of water quality and biodiversity along the local waterway.
The otter was spotted early on Wednesday morning by local resident Max Cody, who managed to capture a short video of the animal as it moved along the river. While the footage was taken at a distance, the sighting itself has been described as an encouraging sign for the health of the river.
