But now the celebrity chef has admitted he cried at his daughter Holly’s recent wedding not because of the family dramas, but because of the price of her dress. The Scottish chef cracked a joke that he was emotional over the cash splashed out for Holly’s nuptials to Olympian Adam Peaty.
Ramsay also revealed that he has always passed on the key to a successful relationship to his six kids by demonstrating how he spends time with wife Tana. Ramsay opened up on US TV about Holly’s big day, but steered clear of mentioning 31-year-old son in law Adam ‘s feud with his estranged mother.

Ramsay said of the wedding: “I was very emotional. I was crying because I realized how expensive the dress was there. That is when it suddenly hit me. It was quite an emotional moment.
“We have six kids – three girls, three boys. Her mother Tana is amazing. But seeing your daughter there for the first time when you come down (the stairs of the venue) and you just see this little girl just transforms into this amazing lady. It just gets you.”
During an appearance on the Jennifer Hudson show, Ramsay reflected on his dancing skills at the wedding. He said: “I can’t dance for s*** – size 15 feet. I even struggled dancing at the wedding because they are huge feet.”

Ramsay touched on his 30th wedding anniversary to wife Tana and revealed what advice he gave Holly. “We talk a lot with the kids. Obviously we spend little time together but it is quality time,” he said. “So the secret of any great relationship is not just the communication but time together..dating, dinners, cinema, jogging. We do triathlons together. And so the whole thing is connecting, open and staying on it.”
He confirmed that daughter Tilly “is the only one to really be following in dad’s footsteps. “She has just come back from culinary school. She is young. She is tenacious and excited to hopefully step up the plate. The others have got proper jobs.”
Ramsay is understood to have given a fiery speech at daughter Holly’s wedding saying his wife Tana “will be a good mum to them both”. The celebrity chef waded into the swimmer’s family feud as it emerged 31-year-old Adam has blocked their texts.

“I work hard. I am obsessed with new restaurants, r and d and I am not good at sitting down on a Sunday.” Ramsay added that he would like Bradley Cooper to play him in any movie biopic. “We helped Bradley a few years back with Burnt. Coops is a great actor. He can plate food, knows food and he cooks beautifully. He is very very cool.”
