Tonight, at the 2026 Grammys, Justin Bieber made his highly anticipated return to the awards show stage to perform the song “Yukon” from his 2025 album Swag. And the Canadian pop star certainly made an appearance to remember, performing an acoustic rendition in nothing but his silk boxers and a purple guitar.
Bieber—who received four Grammy nominations tonight, including for album of the year—hadn’t sung at the Grammys since 2022, when he performed his Justice hit “Peaches.” And the intimate set certainly marked a new direction for the star: There was no elaborate choreography, nor any flashy stage costumes. Just Bieber, a mirror, and his distinctive voice.

Shortly before his affecting performance, Bieber hit the red carpet with his wife Hailey Bieber by his side. Styled by Andrew Mukamal, Bieber wore a black oversized Balenciaga suit courtesy of Pierpaolo Piccioli, accessorized with jewels by Lorraine Schwartz. (Hailey donned a form-fitting Alaïa gown.) His stage look may have been decisively more, well, stripped-down, but that was entirely the point: Consider it a bold approach to less-is-more dressing.
