EastEnders spoilers follow for Monday’s episode (2 February), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders has confirmed Vicki Fowler’s shocking confession to Ross Marshall, turning a romantic moment into one of complete heartbreak. With Vicki’s secret affair with Zack Hudson still looming in the shadows, how will Ross respond to her admission of betrayal?
Vicki and Zack have grown closer in recent weeks and months, and they slept together the night before the trial of Ross’s son Joel started. But when Ross defended Vicki in court, leading Joel to change his plea, she pledged to make a fresh start with her partner.
In today’s episode, Ross was keen to look to the future and vowed to finally pay Sharon back the missing money. To do this, he made plans to start his own handyman business and earn some proper cash.
Zack then arrived and asked Vicki to help him sort out a pile of paperwork in the gym, with Phil having let things slide in the business while caring for Nigel.

Vicki agreed to tackle the mess, and she and Zack shared a charged moment while looking through papers at the gym – a moment that Mark secretly saw. However, Vicki made it clear to Zack that she was with Ross and didn’t like lying to him.
Mark noticed Ross walking out of a jewellery shop and soon realised that he was planning on proposing to Vicki. The two men came to blows once again and were separated by Zack, who was quietly heartbroken when he got word of the proposal.
Later, Mark confronted Vicki in McKlunky’s and spilled the beans about Ross’s engagement surprise, plus put two and two together and accused her of sleeping with Zack.

Meanwhile, Zack drowned his sorrows in The Vic, and after some advice from Ravi, he realised that he needed to forget about Vicki so got talking to a group of women in the pub.
Vicki felt a twinge of jealousy when she spotted Zack outside with another woman, then she returned home to find Ross had set up a romantic proposal with candles and rose petals.
While she got emotional when Ross popped the question, when Mark arrived, she realised that she needed to come clean.
