Forgebell Limited has submitted a planning application to Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council (DLRCC) seeking permission for the change of use of Clontra House, Quinn’s Road, Shankill, Dublin 18, into a combined family hub providing short‑term emergency accommodation for homeless families and individuals, along with ancillary works and the installation of a new playground.
The application was lodged on Monday, January 26, by BPS Planning & Development Consultants Ltd and the planning report states that Shankill currently has no existing homeless accommodation and the proposal is intended to respond to increased homelessness in the Dublin region.
