Ken O’Sullivan is a documentary filmmaker, underwater cameraman and ocean conservationist who lives in Lahinch, Co Clare.

I grew up just outside town in Ennis, Co Clare, the youngest in a family of eight. It was full of love, a wonderful upbringing. I have a huge connection to my father who came from Fenit ­Island, Kerry. I spent the summers of my youth there in a kind of a ­Huckleberry Finn-type existence with my uncles and aunts.
