Murphy to feature in adaptation of Claudia Carroll novel at Cork’s Everyman 

The cast for the upcoming production of The Secrets of Primrose Square at The Everyman has been announced.

Based on the novel by author Claudia Carroll, the play will feature Clelia Murphy (Fair City, Conversations After Sex, Light A Penny Candle), Marion O’Dwyer (The Quare Fellow, Agnes Browne, The Dry, Dancing at Lughnasa), and Leia Murphy (Video Nasty, Big Story).

The Secrets of Primrose Square is three interwoven stories based on a simple quote by Eleanor Roosevelt: “A woman is like a tea bag. You can’t tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water.”

The production was streamed online during the covid pandemic and now the live stage premiere will be presented next month.

Directed by Mark Lambert, it will have a two-night run at The Everyman on September 5 and 6.
