A “significant number” of applications for RTÉ’s voluntary exit programme have been approved, with Director-General Kevin Bakhurst informing staff this afternoon that the national broadcaster has completed a review of all 325 applications.
The scheme was open to staff who had completed at least two years’ continuous service, with exits due to take place in October, November and December.
