One of Ireland’s fastest growing bands, Amble, stopped by the Wee Keg in Brineys, Clonmany for a quiet pint last week.
The folk band were in the North West for three sold-out shows at the Millennium Forum in Derry.
Hearing they were nearby, Wee Keg owner Arron Harkin launched a social media campaign to entice the band to drop by.
Arron, who has an Amble record on the pub wall, took to TikTok to urge people to tag the band in a bid to get them to visit and sign the vinyl. The effort paid off, and the band stopped by before their last Derry show on Thursday.

Owner Arron Harkin said the band were incredibly generous with their time and he was delighted to see them live on stage that night.
“When I say they are the nicest people you will meet is an understatement,” Arron said. “To see them live and to get a shoutout was amazing and we are so, so grateful.”

During their time in Inishowen, the band also had a refreshing dip at Dunree Head, sharing the scenic photographs on social media.
Amble went on to perform in front of a massive crowd at Electric Picnic on Saturday afternoon and then jetted off to the States to begin their USA tour, which kicks off today.
