Emergency services responded to reports of a sudden death on a farm in Co Tyrone this morning (Thursday). The incident took place in the Drumenny Road area of Cookstown.

Police, the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the charity Air Ambulance were present at the scene. The death is not being considered suspicious and the Northern Ireland Health and Safety Executive are conducting an investigation, reports Belfast Live.

A spokesperson for the PSNI stated: “Police and other emergency services attended a sudden death in the Drumenny Road area of Cookstown on Thursday morning, 19th March.”

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and the Health and Safety Executive has been informed.”
