Tánaiste hits out at ‘despicable’ social media messages

A woman has been arrested by An Garda Síochána’s counter-terror unit in relation to credible threats made to the Tanaiste’s children.
The suspect, who is in her 30s, was arrested in west Dublin this afternoon by gardaí probing the threats which referenced kidnapping Simon Harris’s children. She is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a garda station in the Dublin.
