The family of a little boy from Greystones, who is the only known child in Ireland living with a rare genetic mutation, have made an appeal for people to take part in a special event to raise funds and awareness for him and those impacted by the same disease.
Eoin Webb recently turned one and is the youngest of three boys, Ruairi (8) and Cormac (7), with mum and dad, Paul and Maria. Eoin was born full term and healthy, but in the early weeks he struggled with feeding and lost more than 10pc of his bodyweight. With help from a lactation consultant, the family discovered he was tongue-tied.
