A woman was brought to Wexford General Hospital this morning, after being involved in a single vehicle rollover accident on Monday.

Emergency services responded to a road traffic incident in the Ballinacarrig area of Crossabeg, just outside Wexford town. The incident occurred north of Kyle Cross, where the car is understood to have overturned.

Ambulance crews attended the scene and assessed the female driver in her 30s who had been travelling in the vehicle. She received treatment at the roadside before being transported to Wexford General Hospital for further evaluation. Her injuries have been described as non-life threatening.

Wexford Gardaí also attended the scene of the road traffic collision. They confirmed that the road was closed for a period with diversions in place.
