Black Clover is getting ready for a huge future in the coming months and years, and the franchise is really hitting higher marks than ever with a massive sales milestone ahead of the anime’s comeback. Black Clover is now working its way through the final arc of Yuki Tabata’s manga series, and each few months there’s a big update continuing through the final battles to save the Clover Kingdom. But that’s not the only thing the franchise has in the works, however, as the anime is also getting ready to finally return for the second season of its run as well.

Black Clover has also been doing better than ever as a result of this new wave of hype as the manga celebrates its 10th anniversary while it’s setting the stage for its grand finale. As revealed by the series’ official social media, Black Clover has officially crossed over 24 million copies in circulation worldwide as of the release of its newest volume. That’s a high mark for any franchise to reach, and that’s even more impressive for a series that is nearing its end like this one. You can check out the announcement for its new sales milestone below.

Black Clover Reaches New Milestone Ahead of Season 2

Black Clover reaching this milestone comes at a very monumental time for the franchise as a whole. As Black Clover kicked off the official 10th anniversary celebration for the manga, it returned with a new update earlier this Summer with Shueisha’s Jump GIGA magazine that also happened to be the biggest update yet. It was a massive drop of three new chapters continuing through the final fights between the Clover Kingdom and Lucius Zogratis’ Paladins, and it’s clearer than ever that it’s all getting closer to its eventual finale with each new step.

The most exciting thing for Black Clover‘s future, however, is the return of the anime now in the works for a release in the near future. A concrete release date or window has yet to be announced for the new anime as of this time, but Black Clover Season 2 will be produced by Studio Pierrot much like the first season of the series. The new episodes will also be exclusively streaming with Crunchyroll when they premiere in Japan, and it’s where you can currently catch up with the first season of episodes in the meantime.

Black Clover’s Creator Teases Season 2

@YUKI TABATA/SHUEISHA, TV TOKYO, BLACK CLOVER PROJECT

“The production of the long-awaited new anime season of Black Clover has been confirmed!” Black Clover series creator Yuki Tabata stated in a message to fans when Season 2 was first announced. “I’m beyond ecstatic going into the new anime season after the super-passionate movie that came out! Thanks to all of you, Black Clover is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year! I definitely plan to keep this hype going! I want fans from Japan and all around the world to enjoy the powered-up anime that’s going to be brought to you by the most awesome anime production staff! Thank you so much for supporting Black Clover!”

Black Clover’s original anime run ended with a massive cliffhanger that was setting the stage for the penultimate arc of the series, so that means there’s going to be quite a lot of ground to cover when the anime finally returns to action. With the franchise potentially sharing new updates this year as part of Jump Festa 2026 later this December, we could be finding out even more about the new episodes sooner than expected.
