Fionnuala Moran is set to be a mother! The RTÉ 2FM DJ revealed that she is expecting her first child, alongside her husband, Aaron, who goes by the stage name Rebel Phoenix.
The couple, who tied the knot at Rathsallagh Country House in 2025, travelled back to the spot where they had their first date in a full-circle moment to announce the news.
The soon-to-be mum revealed that they are expecting on Sunday night, sharing shots from Lead Mines Way in Carrickgollagan. Fionnuala timed the shoot perfectly, posing with her husband and their two adorable dogs at sunset.

She beamed as she held up a string of pics from her ultrasound, with Aaron and the dogs smiling in the background. Fionnuala also shared an artsy clip of shadow reflecting off the wall, showing off her small baby bump.
‘Bébé buzzer incoming! Beyond grateful,’ Fionnuala penned as she posted the snaps online. ‘Sharing the joy from our first date spot. Sending love to any of you who are on a challenging path to parenthood.’

‘Grand stretch in the evening… and in my waistline,’ Fionnuala joked, alongside a red heart emoji. The sustainability influencer is likely set to teach parents how to raise their children in an environmentally conscious way a few months down the line.
People rushed to congratulate the pair, with Lottie Ryan leading the way. ‘Ahhhhh, this is the best news!!! Congratulations!!!! How did you not tell us in the office last week?!!!’ she penned.
