Fans of Emmerdale think they know who has poisoned Kim Tate after she faced death fears on Monday.

Kim was having lunch with the Dingles when suddenly she began to choke. As everyone looked concerned she collapsed, with Dr Liam Cavanagh springing into action.

Soon the Dingles raced her to the hospital where tests were run, and later it was claimed she may have suffered from severe mushroom poisoning. Lydia Dingle had already told doctors they all ate the same thing.

Graham Foster was under the impression that someone tampered with Kim’s food to kill her. Back at the Dingle house, other motives and causes were discussed, as fingers were pointed at Cain Dingle.

Cain commented that the best news would be Kim dying, leaving the others disgusted but also suspicious. He pointed out Chas Dingle and Caleb Miligan both joked about killing her the day before, but Chas insisted this was just a joke.

Ruby Miligan commented on Kim being in the morgue, while she claimed she had nothing to do with it. Cain questioned if her husband Caleb might have poisoned Kim with his red wine, before he then grilled his brother Sam.

Sam had found the mushrooms used in the food, so Cain questioned if they had been what poisoned Kim. As the episode ended more than one of the family looked guilty, as Graham vowed to find the culprit.

Taking to social media, fans thought someone was trying to frame Lydia as others guessed who was to blame. With Cain and even Joe Tate being accused this week, fans think it’s neither of them.

Instead, fans have decided Caleb is to blame after his past feud with Kim, while some even think Chas helped her brother after their ‘joke’ the day before. One fan said: “I reckon it was Caleb.”

Another posted: “I didn’t see any confirmation but she was only one drinking the red wine that Caleb brought to the party and he kept topping her up with it.” A third added: “Caleb…leave Kim alone.”

Another theory read: “Will Chas and Caleb actually try and poison Kim?” as a further said: “I’m going for Ruby.” Others thought this was far too obvious though and it could be Joe or even Cain.

A fan wrote: “I think Joe’s involved again,” as another said: “Presumably if anything happens to Kim now, it will be made to look like Lydia did it?” A further post read: “I think it’s Joe so that the Dingles get the blame. If Lydia is charged with murder she can’t inherit.”
