Ronnie O’Sullivan and John Higgins meet in the World Snooker Championship as both players look to book their spot in the next round.
It’s the first time the duo have played in Sheffield since 2022 where O’Sullivan went on to win his seventh with a final victory over Judd Trump.
O’Sullivan, who has rediscovered form in recent weeks, kicked off his pursuit of a record eighth world title with a commanding 10-2 victory over Crucible debutant He Guoqiang.
O’Sullivan’s long-time rival John Higgins, overcame Ali Carter in the opening round, fuelling hopes he could secure a remarkable fifth world title.

Play begins today at 7pm, with the second round on Sunday at the same time and Monday at 1pm.
