For Ireland, life post-Prague begins next week as on Tuesday, Heimir Hallgrimsson will name his squad for next month’s training camp in Spain. The trip to Murcia will conclude with a friendly against Grenada, with the Icelander set to run the rule over some fringe and younger players with a view to the road to Euro 2028.
With the Premier League approaching the business end of the season and the Championship and League One play-offs soon coming into view, Hallgrimsson is set to call upon players from outside that cohort.
