Eleven-year-old Limerick boy Christopher Faulkner continues to fight for his life in hospital after a horrific collision at the weekend. His big brother has shared a heartwrenching message for his little sibling as he undergoes treatment.
The young boy was critically injured in a crash near Belfast on Sunday morning. Another passenger in the car, Callum Hutchinson, 16, from Borrisokane in Co Tipperary, sadly lost his life in the devastating accident.
The collision occurred on the Belfast Road and involved a black Volkswagen Golf and a silver Volkswagen Passat. The driver of the Golf is before the courts charged with dangerous driving and other offences.

Among friends and family who have flooded social media with messages of support and updates on Christopher’s condition is his older brother John Faulkner, who shared an image of himself with Christopher and a seven-word message to his sibling.
“My world you are my baby brother,” he wrote.
It has been an extremely difficult few weeks for the extended Faulkner family. Christopher and John’s cousin, Scarlett Faulkner, died in Cork University Hospital in April after being brutally assaulted in March. Scarlett’s brother Jason Faulkner died just days after her funeral.
Relatives and close friends of young Christopher continue to rally around the family and offer up prayers that he makes a full recovery.
Meanwhile, the funeral mass for Callum Hutchinson will take place in his hometown of Borrisokane on Saturday morning.
