With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Robert (Rob) on Monday, May 4th, 2026.
Beloved husband and best friend of Fiona (née Buckley -Meelin).
Rob will be deeply and forever missed by Fiona and their adored children Jack, Ava and Grace, his loving parents Jerry and Mary (de Courcey), sister Eleanor, mother-in-law Julia, sister-in-law Rachel Kenny, brothers-in-law Dominic Edmonds and David Kenny, nieces Lauren and Abby, aunt and godmother Hannah, uncle and godfather Paddy, uncles, Daniel, godchildren, cousins and a wide circle of friends, both in Ireland and abroad.

Reposing in Hawe – O’Keeffe’s Funeral Home (P56 YY15), Bakers Road, Charleville, on Thursday evening from 5:30pm with Prayers at 7:00pm.
Reception into Holy Cross Church, Charleville on Friday morning for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, after which Rob will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery, Charleville.
