Two Ryanair passengers have received suspended jail terms of up to 10 months and were fined 10 thousand euro after their disruptive behaviour led to a flight diversion.
The pair became abusive to fellow passengers and failed to comply with crew orders while on a flight from London Stanstead to Ibiza on May 17th last year.
The plane with 184 passengers and 6 crew onboard had to divert to Toulouse in France.
Ryanair’s welcomed the ruling of a French court, saying its committed to ensuring all passengers and crew travel in a comfortable and stress-free environment.
