Coronation Street spoilers confirm the police start to close in on Theo’s killer. The soap recently announced the six possible suspects- George (Tony Maudsley), Gary (Mikey North), Summer (Harriet Bibby), Christina (Amy Robbins) and Danielle (Natalie Anderson). Next week, Lisa and Kit continue to interrogate the potential suspects, but they come to the conclusion that Gary’s alibi doesn’t add up.

Elsewhere, Will plans an escape route for him and Megan, but Tim saves the day and opens up about his own past. Meanwhile, Jodie makes herself at home in Daniel’s flat and Summer sees her opportunity to leave Weatherfield.

Here’s a roundup of six spoilers for next week on the cobbles.

1) Will Driscoll plans a secret getaway

At the start of the week, Ben is stunned to discover £2,000 is missing from the safe. He admits to Maggie and Eva that he left it open after an argument with Sean. Meanwhile, Will secretly meets Megan to hand over the cash, securing their flights to France. Will lies and tells his family he can’t wait to move to Scotland. Ben, Eva and Susie bid an emotional farewell to Will as he leaves in Tim’s taxi, unaware of his true plans.

2) Tim tries to get through to Will

In the cab, Tim receives a notification that Will’s train to Glasgow has been cancelled. When Will insists that they head for the station anyway, Tim becomes suspicious. Having also seen that Will’s train is cancelled, Ollie tries to call him. Realising Will’s passport has gone, Ben is thrown into panic and instructs Steve to message Tim and tell him not to let Will out of his sight. Tim tells Will all about his relationship with Tricia, how much he enjoyed it at the time but how he’s come to realise that technically he was a victim of rape.

3) Jodie makes herself at home

David urges Jodie to move out. But Jodie retaliates by sowing seeds of doubt in Shona’s mind about the bedroom incident, making out there was more to it. Unable to find a place to stay, Jodie overhears Ken talking about Daniel’s holiday and forms a plan.

Later on, Ken and Bertie call Daniel, assuming he’s in the Lakes. Daniel lies and tells them that the country air is doing him the power of good. Jodie lets herself into the builder’s yard flat and comes face to face with Daniel. Jodie makes out she found his spare key on the pavement and was simply returning it. Daniel’s disbelieving and orders her out. When Jodie threatens to tell his family that he isn’t in the Lakes and explains that she’s nowhere else to go, will Daniel give in?

4) Lisa and Kit secure their number one suspect

At the station, Kit and Lisa agree that Gary’s alibi doesn’t stack up. Later in the Rovers, Todd stares daggers at Kit and Lisa. Lisa interprets his animosity as guilt. Meanwhile, the police call at the builder’s yard and start gathering potential evidence, including some scaffolding poles. Lisa tells Kit that they couldn’t retrieve the deleted CCTV footage from Gary’s computer and they’re back to square one in their search for Theo’s killer. On the street, Kit makes it clear to Gary that he’s still his number one suspect.

6) Will threatens Sam

When Sam sees Will coming out of a classroom and giving an evil look, Sam’s left rattled. As Sam sets off for the Red Rec, Will threatens him and Sam drops his telescope, smashing it on the ground and runs for his life. Nick and Toyah share their concerns about Sam with Roy, who offers to call by for a game of chess. Roy finds an agitated and distressed Sam surveying a tracking device he found in his school bag.
