Galway manager Padraic Joyce has credited his players for their second half effort, despite losing the Connacht final to a late Roscommon surge.

Galway looked to have done enough when Damien Comer scored a 61st minute goal to take a six-point lead but Roscommon surged to outscore them by 0-8 to 0-0 in the final 10 minutes.
