A growing Irish biopharmaceutical company has announced a multi-million-euro investment on Leeside, with new jobs at its European HQ.
Cork-based pharma company Evumed’s new HQ is at Cork Airport Business Park, and the investment will create tens of new jobs this year, across quality, regulatory, supply chain, finance, and support sectors.
It’s a huge vote of confidence in Cork’s highly-regarded pharma industry. Evumed President Colm Moynihan said a Cork HQ was an ‘ideal’ investment for the growing company.
He said: “Cork Airport Business Park’s exceptional global connectivity and modern infrastructure, coupled with Cork’s position as a global hub for pharmaceutical manufacturing and innovation, offer Evumed the ideal location to grow as we aim to develop and deliver generic, branded, and biologic medicines and bring innovation and accessibility together to improve lives.”
In total, 30 high-value jobs will be created at the Evumed HQ in 2026. The Cork-based pharma company was founded last year and specialises in high-quality, affordable medications; its work includes research and development as well as manufacturing. See jobs here.
Cork Airport Business Park marked its 25th year in 2025. In recent decades, it has established itself as a major player in Cork business and a hugely attractive location for Irish and international companies looking for a base in the southwest. Tenants, including major names like Amazon, IBM, McKesson, Emerson, Aviva, GSK, Statkraft and Red Hat – and more expected soon.
The Evumed deal was completed by letting agents Knight Frank, which is also in discussions with three global companies regarding potential tenancies at Cork Airport Business Park.
