Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Guilt continues to consume Charlie Dean in Hollyoaks following the car crash – but upcoming episodes will see him make a huge decision. Charlie, Frankie Osborne, and Vicky Grant were all involved in the smash with the Keane family, including Jonah, Beth, and Caleb.

Charlie caused the crash after driving dangerously, rushing to get Frankie to the train station to start her new life in London.

To avoid the consequences, however, Charlie and Frankie made statements to the police claiming it was Jonah who was driving dangerously, and convinced Vicky to do the same once she awoke from her coma.

But in scenes set to air next week, guilt will consume Charlie and lead him to make a huge decision with far-reaching consequences.

He confides in Frankie how he is feeling after their deception, and admits he is ready to hand himself in to the police.

But once he is sitting alone in a police interview room, mulling over the events of the last few weeks, the consequences of his actions begin to set in.

He is interrogated and feels the pressure as he is pushed for answers over what caused him to be distracted behind the wheel. Will he tell the truth, and what will be the consequences?
