The Recording Academy has officially set its schedule for the 69th edition of the Grammy Awards.
The 2027 ceremony will take place on Feb. 7. The event marks the start of a new contract between the Recording Academy and Disney, which will air the show live on ABC and stream it on Disney+ and Hulu.
The switch to ABC is a changing of the guard among the major networks. CBS has aired the Grammys since 1973. Before then, in ’71 and ’72, ABC hosted its only two airings of the ceremony to date. Before then, every edition of the Grammys had run on NBC.
The Record Academy also laid out its full schedule of dates for the 69th Grammys. The eligibility period officially ends on Aug. 28, and first-round voting is set to kick off on Oct. 12, running through the 22nd. Nominees will be announced on Nov. 16, and final-round voting will begin on Dec. 10.
What we don’t know about the 2027 Grammys at this point is who will be hosting. Earlier this year, Trevor Noah hosted his sixth and purportedly final ceremony.
