Passed away suddenly on 23rd April 2026.
Predeceased by his beloved parents Josephine and Patrick, his brother John Joe, brother‑in‑law Joe, and sister‑in‑law Anne.
Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving husband Kenneth, sisters Bernadette Fitzgerald (Ballyforan) and Anne Cleary (Sean, Ballinasloe), brother Kevin (Noreen, London), his nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends in Ireland, Miami, and beyond.
Gerry will be remembered for his kindness, his humour, and the deep connections he made both at home and abroad.
Gerry’s funeral took place in Miami Saturday 9th May 2026.
Arrangements were handled by Trinity Funeral Chapel, North Miami.
A Memorial Mass to celebrate Gerry’s life will be held in Kilconnell, Co. Galway at a later date, details to follow.
