The recall from Manor Farm includes chicken products sold at Aldi, Dunnes Stores, Lidl, Centra, SuperValu and Tesco.
Aldi products recalled include whole chickens, chicken drumsticks, chicken thighs, ‘cook in bag’ whole chickens and chicken breast fillets.
Eight products sold at Dunnes Stores have been recalled, as have four chicken products sold at Centra, 11 sold at SuperValu and five sold at Tesco.
According to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), all implicated batches are past their use-by dates of either April 12 or April 13, but they are suitable for home freezing.
Therefore, consumers have been urged to check their freezers and not to eat the implicated batches.
The FSAI recall also listed two batches of Lidl 100pc Irish Chicken Breast Fillet products originating from Ireland.
One of the affected batches is a 291g Free Range 100pc Irish Chicken Breast Fillets, with the use-by date of April 12 and the batch code L1023753.
The second batch is a 550g 100pc Irish Diced Chicken Breast Fillets, with the use-by date of April 13 and no batch code provided.
The FSAI said that the recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale in all stores.

According to the FSAI, people infected with salmonella typically develop symptoms between 12 and 36 hours after infection, however this can range between six and 72 hours.
Diarrhoea is the most common symptom, which can sometimes be bloody and severe enough to require hospital admission.
Other symptoms include fever, headache and abdominal cramps, with the illness usually lasting four to seven days.
Severe illness caused by salmonella is more likely among the elderly, infants, and those with impaired immune systems.
